What is the Most Important Key for an Interview?

ATTITUDE
As a consultant, I meet many people everyday who are either fresh out of varsity, middle-aged professionals looking for a better career opportunity and even wise decision makers who wants a change.
The biggest factor which determines weather or not they are successful in the interviews they attend is the ATTITUDE they have before, during and after the interview.
My candidates often ask me, 'What is the Attitudes they(the employers) want to see?'. My answer to them has always been very simple. It's not what they want to see but it's what they can see. Attitudes cannot be worn like a t-shirt whenever you meet somebody. It has to come from within. Attitudes are the established ways of responding to people and situations that we have learned, based on the beliefs, values and assumptions we hold. Attitudes become manifest through your behavior.
The only way to know weather or not you have the right Attitude is to start having a positive approach in life. When you are positive in thinking, you automatically send out positive vibrations not only to yourself but also to the people around you thus when you attend an interview with a positive Attitude, you will not only be in control but you will be able to answer the questions directed to you confidently and put yourself in a different level giving you the edge amongst the other candidates. Remember, Attitude is not only contagious, it also determines your Altitude.
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Anonymous

Welcome to Seed Talk!

Hi All,

Welcome to Seed talk! The birth of Seed Talk is inspired by my friends and family who has constantly pushed me into blogging as they feel I can reach more people through blogs. This is dedicated to them.

The existance of this blog is not only to share ideas but it will also be an avenue where job listings will be posted with the assistance of PuteraMIC Bureau of Career & Human Development. To those who would like to place their job advertisements here, please contact me at yogendran@puteramic.net

You will also find tips and real life experiences on the DO's & DONT's in an interview. If you have your views and would like to share them with me, please do. I would be looking forward in hearing from you but prior to that, please introduce yourself so that it would be easy for me to respond.

Till then, have a good stay!

Your friend,
S.Yogendran
